Welcome to Splash School Of Swimming

About Us

Swim, have fun, be safe

Splash School Of Swimming is a family run business established in 1993. We are a friendly team who are passionate about helping children learn to swim, improve technique and keep safe around water.

Learn to swim and improve

We operate the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) Learn To Swim framework, distances, challenges and personal survival. On completion, there is the option to purchase the nationally recognised badge and certificate.

Class sizes suitable for ability

The maximum number of children per class is limited to 6 for beginners, 8 for advanced. One-to-one sessions may be available upon request. Our teachers work both in pool and pool side, depending on class ability.

Further information

Lessons

We provide lessons to 4+ year olds, who are able to take instruction from someone other than a parent/guardian. We understand that all children are different so please feel free to contact us and discuss your needs. Lessons are 30 minutes long and are structured to include a warm up, stroke/badge work and cool down/fun activities.

Teachers

All of our teachers are ASA qualified. Lessons are taught in pool for begginers to allow students to feel comfortable and to ensure safety. For improvers/advanced swimmers, lessons are provided from poolside, as this provides a better view of the swimmer's technique.

Payments

To secure a place, payment for a 6 week block is to be made in advance. Payment is due again on week 6 to secure the next block of lessons. Payment methods accepted are bank transfer, cheque or cash.

Missed lessons cannot be refunded.

Prices

Each lesson costs £9 and are to be paid for in blocks of 6.

A badge and certificate cost £4 per set and are available to buy from the venue on completion of an award.

Location

We currently run from two venues:
